MY PROUDEST MOMENT: Backpacking the Grand Canyon, from the South Rim to the Colorado River and back (25 miles) with my husband, Greg (for our anniversary in the fall of 2010).

MOST MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE: Writing a Children’s book (that was given to all of the cancer and kidney transplant patients at the Children’s hospital in Moscow, Russia) in 1995
