Handyman Services

This program, equipped with qualified volunteers, provides specific maintenance services for individuals in financial need. Working in conjunction with Financial Fitness (contact the Counseling Center for more info), it’s our desire to serve and support you in practical ways.

• The elderly

• Widows/widowers

• Families or other individuals with financial need

 
How Can I Request Handyman Services?

CONTACT: Amy Bartha | 755.0089 x 100; She will discuss your need with you and instruct you on our services and how you can participate.

Your Responsibilities:
As the recipient of this service, we ask that you provide the materials needed to complete the task(s). The handyman will bring his own tools and volunteer his time at no charge to you. You will be responsible for covering any additional expenses involved in the project.
 

What Types of Services Does Handyman Offer?

We provide services that take from 2-4 hours to complete including:

• Electrical                             • Plumbing                        • Lifting/changing items

• Carpentry                            • Small engine repair

Examples of Potential Projects:
Changing light switches, changing fuses, maintaining lawn mower, fixing receptacles, fixing leaky faucets, replacing screens/storm windows, winterization, AC installation (window units), minor painting
