Sunday Worship Service Times - 9:00 & 10:45 AM
We want you to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at home at Living Word when you arrive for the first time. Here are some things you can expect:
Making Your Visit Easy
Our Directions page has a map to help you get to the campus. From the time you enter our property, our smiling Guest Services team of Parking attendants, Greeters, Care Corp, & Ushers are at your service. When you arrive, if you use your 4-way flashers to identify yourself, you will enable us to assist you to make your first visit easy and carefree.
Arrive 15 Minutes or More Early
We would encourage you to arrive 15 to 25 minutes before the service starts. This will allow time for us to help you get to the various locations and and find age-appropriate programming for each member of your family.
Casual Dress
We encourage you to dress comfortably. You will find we have a variety of dress styles from suits and dresses to jeans and shorts. We care more about what you get out of the service than what you wear to it.
Relaxed Atmosphere
God wants us to come to Him as we are, and we choose to celebrate His grace in an atmosphere of acceptance, trust and transparency. We respect your right to remain anonymous but we would love to meet you and help you become part of the family if you so choose.
Practical Teaching
We focus on teaching biblical principals and values in a way that is very practical and applicable to everyday life.
Uplifting Music
Our worship music is a contemporary and encouraging celebration of what God has done and desires to do in each of our lives. For many people the worship experience has been a key factor that brought them back to the church.
Interpreting
The Sunday 10:45 AM worship service is interpreted in ASL (American Sign Language). For more information click on this link.
Fusion (Youth Ministry)
If you are in grades 7 - 12, Fusion is for you. Fusion is interactive, participatory, and generationally focused. High-impact worship and teaching from God's word is the focus on Sunday mornings which meets concurrent with the Sunday adult worship. There are other programs as well that teens and young adults can participate in on Sunday evenings and through the week.
Treasure Park (Children's Classes)
We have age-appropriate classes for infants through 6th grade during each of our services. Parents are encouraged to let our loving and capable children's staff care for their kids so that parents and kids can have a great experience! We provide a paging system for parents in the worship service so that parents can be alerted in the event their kids need them. We have a security system in place to assure your child's security so you can relax and enjoy the worship service.
The Facilities
The Living Word Community Church building can be overwhelming at first glance, but the layout of the facility has been well thought out. Below is a map of the building to help acclimate you to our church. If you are still unsure where to go, feel free to call the church office at 717-848-4293. Our Office hours are Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Friday 8:00 am - noon.
